I think you can use the 4AC starter - but your 4AC flywheel wont fit the 4AGE - 4AC flywheel uses 6 bolts, 4AGE uses 8.
Hey, I just had my bigport FWD 4AGE rebuilt and in the process of putting main things back on. It will be getting installed
into my AE86, i have 2 questions that i need to know, all the rest of the stuff i have sorted.
1. Can i use my RWD 4AC starter motor if i use the 4AC flywheel, clutch and pressure plate?
2. Do i have to install a spigot bearing on my 4AGE or can i use the one from the 4AC?
Any advice will be really helpfull.
Cheers. Allan

1. If your 4age has a 200mm flywheel then you can use the same 4ac clutch and pressure plate. The 4ac starter will work on any 4a flywheel as they all have the same ring gear (even 4agze 224mm have the same ring gear).
2. Buy a new spigot bearing, bearing part no. 6001 (or just ask one for a 4ac sprinter) from any bearing shop and should cost less than $10. Not worth the effort of pulling one out of the 4ac
