    wut?

    they are the same length?

are we talking apples and apples or oranges and apples?

do you want to know different length of an 'S' series tail shaft is compared to a 'T' series tail shaft?

or if adm 'T' series is the same length as jdm 'T' series?

Clinton: you have no idea. Let's just leave it at that.

jed: the difference is about 20mm, as I had them side-by-side a few days ago. But I didn't measure. I could measure if I realy had to.

that would be grate if you could, only because i wanna ring the diff joint to find out how much it will be to shorten the adm one.

    cheers mate jed.

coz i didnt get the post?

    right on!

OP: go to a wrecker and get an RA40 tailshaft. you might be able to get away with using the back half of the tail shaft straight onto the s series.

if not. at least youll have the stuff for a shaft place to make it. it would be cheaper aswell i think

well ive alredy got an adm shaft for an s series diff but am putting a t series diff in and need it to be shorter. all i really need two know is how much shorter a jdm shaft is, so i can either get mine shortened or get a rear half of a jdm or t-18 shaft depending on how much it costs to shorten it.

    cheers jed

Over here in WA, if you were to go and have it shortened by a diff / tailshaft specialist it would probably end up being just as much or if not more than finding a t18 peice.
