Default [VIC] FS: AE86 4AGE not running $2500

    Hello everyone.

I would like to sell my sprinter. It is blue with Corona Avante rims with Yokohama C-drives from like 1962 (kidding, but they're no longer brand new)

I'd take $2500 for it. No more, no less (ok maybe a bit more

It has been sitting in a spot for about a year or maybe 18 months now.

    The car has:
-4age with the manifold disconnected off.
-EMS Stinger sort of connected with loom
-KYB struts/Custom springs 5kg front 3kg rear rx7 rear suspension modified
    -Japan exedy racing clutch
    - Newish (I think?) RDA rotors in the front. Unsure of pads but they do the job.

The car is in pretty poor shape at the moment due to my neglect (of having two cars since I last worked on it).

It handles really well and drives really hard (when the inlet manifold is attached!) and it would probably be a legitamate NIGHTMARE to get it registered on the road, you'd need a few weekends work and that, and then you'd want to get it to be the same colour.

You could probably have it running in one big weekend, but, I can't be bothered.

It's located in South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

I don't have any pictures but grass is overgrowing it at the moment and would appreciate someone who would have a rough idea of how to get it going and the work required so they can just come and pick it up and take it away. Like removing a bandaid.

I think it has a lot of potential if you have some time to put in to working on it, it would be a bit of a waste if you were to take it to a professional to have it fixed up as that'd cost a bit.

    Photos added.

    Thanks, Grant

Well it's $2500 for a reason - it needs some tender loving care to get it back to its former glory!

A years worth of neglect is never too nice to a car...

I bet it would still outhandle my mx5 though

I think there's a youtube video floating around from it doing mountian highway... "ae86 mountain highway downhill" or something.. posted by Grant. ha.

    Edit:
The Springs were done by AJPS - 5kg front 3kg rear and they're extremely well balanced with the shocks - the rear shocks are adapated from a Generation 1 rx7 and the fronts are just the KYB non adjustables for the AE86. It also has a front strut tower bar from one of the early AE86 part making groups - and that bar is so solid I would trust it during an earthquake.

If there is access to the old forum here then there may still be pics.

Oh and yeah it has an exhaust system - and also an exedy japan racing clutch - but the exhaust has a really really friggin quiet muffler on it that's super restrictive - it's 2.25 inch straight through exhaust from 4-2-1 extractors - I totally forgot about those two t hings. It's a brass button clutch thingo - that's extremely harsh and provides excellent power transmission and will not slip.. I went through a lot of trouble finding this clutch. They're quite exxy (tehe no pun intended)

So yeah pics are up now, check 'em out - I think it's a fair price considering the condition and the good bits. Obviously will need heaps of work as said before - but would still be on the road lookin alright for another 2 grand.
