last night while fixing the car i changed over the throttle bodie with one from another 4age bigport. the tps plugs were different but all the wires were the same so i wired up the new and plugged her in.
in the throttle bodie that i was previously using it had a block off plate the bottem of it that was for the connection to the radiator and so on, i think its the cooling lines or some thing along those lines
anywayss, with everything replace and a new paper gaskted made up, i connected the new throttle bodie from the other big port right up
i cranked the engine over and she was not only iddling at 3000rpm, she was bouncing from 2500-3000rpm constantly. i disconnected the tps and it didnt bounce any more, but the idle was stuck at 3000rpm
now I'm lost as what to do because i copied my old throttle body set up, i don't know what i messed up on that would cause the idle to be so high + to bounce like that as well
does anyone have any ideas? :\
thanks

ok fixed, found the problem.
it was a fucked gasket connecting the tps side of the throttle body to the main part ^_^
