hpi and drift battle were the only mags worth reading, only ones that feature decent cars

    internet killed magazines

i used to rely on magazines for build up news and event photos but we can get all that on line, magazine info is really dated, whihc was one of the reasons Drift Battle went under as quoted by the editor in the final issue.

didn't learn anything new about Brett's 86 that i already knew off here, which shows how informative a forum can be, ithere is no restriction on how much can be posted on the topic i guess, mags have a 3-4 page spread so they have to compact the info as much as they can to fit it all in and subsequentyl leave out a few good bits, or skim over important bits that i'd love to know more about!! it was a good read for joe public but i think for 86 aficionado's the info was lacking, mentioned briefly some cool things but didn't elaborate. Easily deserved another 2 pages just to explain why Brett altered what he altered and why. pics were sweet though

1st mag i bought since DB left the shelves, that mag was just a habitual buy anyway

Not to keen on that green hachi. Read the article and the only thing about it is the outside. Everything else is pretty non-exciting. I was a bit dissapointed with that. I like to pick up HPI and read about something nuts. Not just something that looks ok on the outside but nothing special on the inside. It is High Performance Imports isn't it?

Now that FNATZ trueno coupe, that was worth reading. Love that thing.

Pity no big poster of bretts car.
