    Default 16 x 8, what size tyres on AE86?

I picked up some 16 x 8 Grids that had been on an R31, they came with 225/50/16's which are obviously too big (overall diameter). What are other people running?

    I think I need 225/45/16 or maybey even 40's
And maybey 245/35/16 on the back.
If I can even get those sizes.

Guards are flared enough to fit these

    205/40 will be nice.
but it pisses me off when people assume your hooning cos your car is loud, has bald tires, a roll cage, fresh bake and dinted bumpers!!
Or driving in a wolf pack.

yeah for a light car like that 205 or a 215 i guess.

i just stated 225 as a safe bet not knowing the car it was for.

i run 195 45 16 ...... well grippy and a good amount of feedback from a slightly tighter sidewall.

depending on what u want the car to be good at, some larger tyres will increase traction to a point.

hell its not een like 195 is stretched on a 8 anyways.
