Default current price of modified ke70/ae71/adm ae86, what do you think theyre worth?

    just looking for some input

i think prices have fallen somewhat, possibly.

if youre in the market (genuinely) for a ke70/ae71 or even adm 86 what are you looking to pay?

im talking like basic set up, front coilovers, some sort of basic rear spring/shock combo, a 4age conversion, some ok'ish jap wheels.

or if youve recently sold, what were you asking, and how close did you go to getting it?

also if you are considering buying either of those types of cars, are you or would you be interested in anything else toyota (14 corona 6 series celica etc) or datsun/mazda?

id pay a grand or under for a standard ke/ae depending on condition, MAX 1500 if it was straight and not rusty.

86, id pay about 2500 for a straight unrusty rolling shell with a 4ac to pull it around for a while.

for a ke with t series, lsd, 16v, all pretty tidy, one colour, straight, some wheels that are 14 x 6 or something, around 3500. if it had a 20v, 4000, if it had nice suspension, like all the 4 links, good coil overs, fresh brakes and what not, id pay 4500.

never really thought about an 86 so cant say what id pay for that,

rona, id pay 0-2k depending on condition, if it had a 3sge and suspension and decent diff, id pay 4500 if it was straight.

the thought of celicas and datsuns, mazdas very rarely cross my mind, except maybe a 929. or bow tie boot celica with a 3sgte, mmmmmm

^ Agreed. What is a bow tie boot celica?

About 5k for ADM sprinter with basic gear. Maybe 6 depending on whats in it.

ive got coilovers (tokico + 8kg), jap-wannabe wheels, pwr steering knuckles, rona arms, rca's, buckets, braces f and r, carb'd 4ag,trd blue rear + 6kg.

that sort of thing seems hard to pull even over 5k right now

I just sold a sprinter completly stock, great 4ac, rust replaced with new metal, resprayed in white, basically a very neat clean example of a stock ADM sprinter with roady for 4k.

so i would assume a non resprayed roady regoed one would be in the 2.5 to 3.5 range?

prices have seem to have stoped climing recently...

ahh dunno blair, i reckon your car is a solid 6500-7000 car. your car is basically just about spot on the best investment to return ratio point. depending on what its cost you to get it to that stage i guess.

I couldn't get people to leave me alone when I had a for sale add up for my sprinter.

Approximately 8 people said they were willing to take it for 3 grand.

That was with a very healthy 4AC, pulls very hard.
Stock everything. Bit of rust here and there. Totally ruined paint.
    Nov rego.

I think tbh the clincher is rego. If its registered it appeals much more to those who aren't really part of the forum (less than 20 posts, pretty much all the people who were willing to take it were those type of users).

If it were unregistered I think I'd be lucky to get 2K for it.
