I'm looking for peoples boxed up filters because I'm looking to do one for myself. i have had a look at the ford ba xr8 air filter and thay are a pod filter in a fully covered shroud but the size it to big. i have also been looking into a go kart filter its a little cylinder with a 2inch inlet whitch i could just run some pipe to and attatch to my throttle body but I'm looking for what you have done could you please post some pics to give me some idea on what sort of setup you have got and if its not to much hassle a cost

    cheers mat
    the dyno pull to 300rwkw

BT20v is making 300rwkw like i said i would without nitrous so now its time for some spray and see if she will run a 10s or less

What car is it going into?
I used an RA65 airbox on my sprinter. Cost me bugger all, fit with minor mods (only had to rivet on one bracket) the air filter is as big as my head and it looks totally stock.
It also bolts straight up to the AFM on the 4AGE which is good, since air filter options are pretty limited on the AFM motors.

this may sound a tad ghetto, but i used a small plastic bucket from mitre 10, which fits exactly over a pod filter. so i drilled a 2" hole in the bottom, made a fitting with some pipe running to the front grill, and hay presto! a custom made cold air intake which looks factoryish when all painted black!!

It isn't as cool as a boxed pod i suppose, but it's heaps less work:
