iam putting a manual steering rack in my power steering ae86 and ive seen that the left side clamp for the rack will not hold the manual rack properly was wondering what have you guys done?

Are you using your power steering rack clamps?

I'm assuming that they are bigger to accommodate the power steering rack. Otherwise get a manual rack AE86, or KE70 clamps. I think they are the same.

ah k hopefully the bolt holes are the same

I'm sure the cross member is the same...just the mounting clamps will be different.

But yeah, I'm just going off heresay...not actual facts LOL

crossmember between p/s and manual steer cars is different. you'll need adaptor bushes (tec arts sell them for one place to try), or the correct cross member.
