So just apply more force? Not worried if it fucks the little threaded bit.
Edit: never having really fiddled with brakes/lines I was a little hesitant.
I've got r31 coilover and brake package, so I've got to replace the line between the caliper and joining point in the arch.
I've been supplied with lines but I have a problem, the line off the car it came from is still threaded in and clamped to the end which connects to the line on my car. I've tried undoing it from the thread but to no avail.
Anybody run into this situation? Help please.
Matt.

The part you rholding can be held in a vice.
The part circled is undone with a 10mm RING spanner. But you have to hit the spanner to you hear the thread 'crack' as it lets go.
Do NOT use an open ender.
A 6 pointed ring spanner would be best. A 6 pointed pipe spanner is what you often have to use. A 12 pointed ring spanner will work very well.
2 vice grips. I did this just hte other day to a stuborn brake line and hose. Didn't damage the hose.
Yep, held it in a vice and cracked it with a ring spanner. Very easy once in a vice and decent spanner.
Thanks dudes.
