Weird Idle

Hey guys,

Just got my ke70 running properly - 7age with an adaptronic ec

anyhow I the pipes that are not used on a cut and shut intake manifold have been blocked off with caps, one of these blew off and the idle would drop to say 200 revs and then jump to 1500 and repeat the process. I have since pluged this (it does not leak) yet once the car warms up it drops around 400-500 revs every 3-4 seconds (up and down). It still revs out nicely and drives fine, but I feel like a dick at traffic lights and annoys the shit out of it.

I have checked all plugged pipes and none leak and cant seem to track down a vacuum leak (which I suspect it is) just seeing if theirs any other obvious things it could be.

I had this problem, the most likly cause is a vacuum leak.

Have you blocked off the stock fitting on the inlet manifold for the breather pipe fromthe rocker cover? these sometime become unusable when you do the cut n shut, block it off with finger, see if it makes a difference.

Also i would take your air filter/pipe of the Throttle body and stick you finger in, and block off the port at the bottom, this was why mine 'Hunted' at idle, after i blocked off the idle up/water thingy underneath.
