use a S13 accel cable... and mod it to fit, pretty simple to do and requires drilling two holes in the plate which bolts to the firewall.
ok so the clutch is done and i'm on track for most stuff but i can't work out how to do the accelerator cable and speedo cable. its an SR20DE from an S13 with s13 5-speed box. any help on what to use would be great. the stock accelerator cable is to short and i dunno what to get the manual drive out of for the speedo.
ah also thinking about a hilux diff as i got one lying around. is this a good idea? and will it suit the SR20 nicely for ratios etc.

I used a ke70 accelerator cable on my 3s conversion, it was twice the length of the ae86 job and bolts straight on without mods. If your ae71 cable works with the nissan throttle body then so too with the ke70 cable.
As for speedo drive? I'm not sure, I've not seen what the nissan one looks like.
i got an aftermarket electronic speedo, works with the nissan electronic sender unit in the box and it means u can change the speedo reading if u get new wheels or diff gears.
If u really want 2 go cable tho, check out datsun, 200b/bluebird
what dash speedo are you using tho and how have u wired it?

I heard a vl commo speedo cable will work. Dont quote me on that tho. cause i just wing it with no speedo atm
i just bought a VDO speedo and fitted it where the old speedo was, it comes with instructions on how to wire it.
I havent got pics atm but i can get some on wednesday

its currently got the standard rolla instrument cluster in it. was hoping to be able to use that since i wanna register it here in QLD. not sure on laws for an aftermarket one though.
well i assume it would be the same as ae86....what i did was take out the electronic speedo sensor and get an rb20 one, which is cable, and the ae86 and hopefully ae71 cable drive will screw right into it, i think the speedo is off by about 10kmh though
