    Hey,
Found out that this hose has come lose and i cant figure out where it goes. Its the blue hose that is coming off the engine (where it says twin cam on the top of the engine. The hose off the C round the word Cam.) i know its ment to go to the air manifold somewhere. The JDM 4age has this hose going left, staight across to the inlet manifold but on my ae92 4age it goes behind somewhere. Any one help describe where it goes?
    Thanks

When i bought my old sprinter it was set up the same way, hose hanging down behind the engine. I think the previous owner was just too tight to buy a oil catch can, so he poked the hose down behind the motor so the oil would just spit out onto the road
Since i sold the car i've seen a picture of the same hose going into a brake fluid bottle that was wedged into a bracket on the side of the engine bay!

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (tony_kim @ Sep 30 2008, 02:27 PM) </div>not really

was done on my old engine, if the thing isn't breathing very heavily it shouldnt be a problem

dont get me wrong, its still a gay idea, but not in all cases is it "shit" or "dodgy"

Used to be standard on pre 70's cars, just a oil line that went down the side of the block onto the road

Its also illegal not to have it plumbed back into the intake.

You need to have it hooked in just in front of the throttle body.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Golberg @ Sep 30 2008, 08:23 PM) </div>The one in front of the throttle body already has a small hose but it is sealed off??which i thought was strange(This is the one that most 4age's would connected to, straight across)
As i said it is meant to go around the back but i dont see any nozzle/inlet where it i can stick a hose into easily. Maybe i never noticed and it was never connected to anything which i doubt. It may also be a coincidence but my engine is now running rough

I have a feeling that the cut and shut manifolds block the plumbing for the hose in the manifold body.
