    Default Tamiya TT-01

im pretty certain im going to buy one. that or maybe a TA-05

basically i just want to build a tamiya kit for the fun of it.

i looked into it before, but seemed at the time you could only buy the TT-01, XB, pre built. but theres kits on ebay for like $120. (obviously i know you need to buy the transmitter, esc, body, battery and charger)

if anyone here has one, feel free to comment.

i think i just wanna use it very occasionally. probably set it up for drift. hop it up a bit. it doesnt have to be stupidly fast. just fun and fun to build. and tough.

i wouldnt spend the extra on a TA-05 if theres a reason too, but for me i dont see one?

TA05 has a few small suspension design differences, and the ABILITY to be a fair bit faster around a track, but .. to 99% of people are just wasting their money.

TT01 for sure, i thrashed one endlessly after my first (TL01) met its fate, from then onwards i felt other cars i 'upgraded to' weren't giving good enough gains for $$, its an awesome little chassis

it seems like i could build one new for $400?

I have the same D1 S15 TT-01... Been using it occasionally for a year, no hassles it seems, has had quite a few smacks and jumps, all good.
