Thread: Speedometer Input snapped

    as title, the small 'plastic' thing that goes into the dash cluster (speedometer) snapped, how do I fix it? Do i need to replace the entire cable (does that cable start from the gearbox somewhere?) please help... thanks....

    yea mate, grab a new cable.

    It has a big thread over the end of the cable at the gearbox, on the drivers side near the crossmember. you should be able to undo it by hand.

    Bugger its broken mate!!!

    fast reply Nath!! is this thing specific to sprinter? is there other cable that's similar/identical??

    AE71 is probably the same.

    I think they are pretty generic.

    I mean I plugged an AE90 cluster onto my AE71 one and it worked fine.
