65 profile on a 15??? GTFO this isn't am aussie famliy sedan!!! I'd stick with 50 profile.
195/50 is hardly stretch on 15x8 lol and if you don't want as much stretch go 205/50 on 9's.
10's with a smallport is a bit much but 205/50's or 195/55 if you want to keep the same width.

15x8 -10 pokes hard on a ke70, sits just out on an ae86.

Only use 195/50 on 15 unless you feel 205/50 is need, maybe on a 9.

Kid karola I didn't mean on the 8, as it says run a 195/45 up front! I meant on the 10, 195/50 on them is fine IMO but I thought he didn't like them that stretched. Plus the risk of popping them off the bead.
But I guess ur a fan boy and know best so kurt listen to him not me. After all it was my car with those tire specs on it so what would I know.

Fanboy? It's not just about aesthetics or fitment, besides looking like a balloon it ruins the dynamics for a small light car like AE86. 195/45 on 8 are sweet (but I'd still opt for 50). Above you maintained width and increased profile to reduce stretch - but I'd go a touch wider and maintain profile to do it.
a 65 has +10% larger rolling diam than 50 - not ideal (compared to 45 -3% or 55 +3%) While a 205/50 is only +1.7% diam over a 195/50 for 10mm more width and much stiffer sidewall than 65. It would take a fair shunt to pop 205 off bead on 10 (especially on a JJ rim).

True a 65 profile tire is a bit much should have said 55 but I wouldn't wanna run a 205 on a 15x10 wheel behind a stock smallport specially a heavy wheel like a superlite. I just hate people thinking thier opinion is the only way to go and flame others for voicing theirs.

    Then don't run 15x10's?

GTR superlite 10 isnt THAT heavy either.

No offence taken or given I agree needs +200hp to justify 10's IMO even on a drift car and 205's are too sticky without the grunt.
For serious track car (like N2) slicks FTW but in say IPRA are resiticted to15x7or8 depending on class and Advan control tyre limits size choice.

hey hey hey back off on Nic hah he did own the car with the exact same wheel and flare specs so he knows about this particular car!

Oh and I ditched the Sigma arms for the moment at least, see if I need all that lock when I get a bit better, hello inner guard scrub with those knuckles, although haven't checked that yet. Might ditch the 10's then too!

Think I'll go 195/50 on my 8's and 205/50 on 9's if I get them.

I'll back off then lol. The lock will help now so u can catch a spin.
Well I had 185rwkw when I had the car so spinning most tires was pretty easy.
But if I had a stock smallport I'd be running 14s. Something light which will make it easier to spin up.
