if you read the page back, my red 86 has 8-12 on the rear. 8.5 is only an extra 6 or so mm on the outside, just to give you an idea.
anyone have pics of 8.5-12ish on the rear of an 86??? thanks for that post too benzo gives me a rough idea of where its going to sit^^^^^^^^^^ running same size on the rear soon but on a levin coupe so if someone has roughly that size on a sprinter chuck it up =) standard gaurds too if its possible =)

fits mint. perfect fitment on an 86, IMO.
Did you buy those or test fit them? they look pretty good do they scrub while driving at all?

i have brought a pair of those style and a pair of circle styled ones. they just barely scrub, as in if i raised the rear 1mm it wouldnt srub, but this will be fixed by running a 195/50 rather than a 55.
my wheels will be getting here mid august. cant wait hha.
also, my rails are at about 45mm to give you an idea of the height.
Looks great man! 195/50 was what I was going to run on my 10's before I sold them. Perfect amount of stretch. I like the edition of the chrome handles too! I always wanted to do that too, haha. What are they off?

just quickly.. im trying to decide on what size wheel to build..
either 14x8 or 15x8..
now which of these will provide the best grip.. 14x8 with a 185/60 or a 15x8 with a 195/50?

I would go 14 x 8 with 185 55
