    Default The Wheel Fitment Thread

There are always questions asked about wheel fitment regarding what fits, rubs, looks good etc, about time we had a dedicated thread about the subject.

Lets face it, proper fitment makes you car look gangster and can turn the ugliest shit box into something hot (ke's) .

    READ THE RULES

DO NOT post in this thread to say "oh but that will effect scrub radius or performance" odds are if your running wide low offset wheels you don't care about the minimal difference it makes to your steering although i do emphasize to many that you need to chose a right tyre size before you choose your rim so you're not trying to stretch skinny 175's onto 7's to make them clear your guards.

DO NOT post up pics of your wide/low offset wheels that aren't fitted and final. This thread is for good fitment, not mexican fitment that needs "xxxxxx and xxx" done before they will fit. Wheels that have just been bolted on is not fitment. Wheels that happen to stick out the guards is not fitment.

DO NOT post anything under 7 inches wide.

    DO NOT
Quote 5 photos just to reply to someone asking them about their setup, delete their photos from their quote!

EVERY PHOTO must contain alignment specs, suspension mods (that are relevant), tyre size, rim width and offset (spacers also if used).

Feel free to ask about what might fit in this thread or PM me and others in this thread if you want to know more details.

    Post away

The first picture is what it currently drives with (no scrubbing whatsoever). The ones with the 7.5" up front where just for reference when I was planning on getting some 8.5" for the rears.

Edit: I forgot to mention that depending on tyre brands, the rears will rub with this setup. Easily fixed with more flaring, but I don't want more than a pinky finger gap between my rear guards.

Rears are fine street driving most of the time with driver only, but once you add a passanger or start driving hard, rubbing gets more serious. More passangers.. well you'll get a chunk of rubber hanging onto your tyres and strong smell of burning rubber.

    Front 15x7.5. +15 (+20 with 5mm spacer)
    205/50 R15 Tyre
    Corona XT130 LCA
    -2 degrees camber
Clears easy. Was flared to suit 15x7 +1 offset with a 205/50. Handles better with no twitch and steers better at slow speeds with 15x7.5 +15 for some reason.
