Slightly off topic, but do many companies make a 15 that has a similar sidewall height to a 195/50 but in a wider tread? IE 205/45, etc?
that would be a very very uncommon size.
195/45 is pretty popular euro size, espically with the VW guys. 195/45 R15, R14 and R13... never seen a 205/45 apart from in a 16"
google your size is the best way to find out tho, you'll quickly learn tho... if you cant find it on a bob jane website or the likes its a hard to find or isnt kept in stock in Oz.
Yeah, being kept in stock isnt too much of an issue as ill probably be the one stocking it anyway, haha. Was just wondering if it was known to be made by any companies. The search begins.
a lot of jap sprinters run 195/55 (as seen in most option videos that ive seen anyway)
195/50 is not too big for an 86, its the correct size

yeah. load rating for the 595 is 420kg. compared to 470 for 195 50. its pretty well within spec.
78's
yeah its a semi common enough size now. ive been aware of it for years due to my interest in VW's, but now i think it comes on polo's and jazz' stock here in Au. so its not like theyre going to dry up.
im more concerned about the handling characteristics with such a short sidewall.
78's
