    Default Wheel redrilling hookups

Need to get a set of wheels re drilled and some new steel inserts put into the holes, anyone got any suggestions other than the usual adelaide wheel and rim/Expensive wheel service?

thought about redrilling hubs? assuming this is for the charade?

i only just finished redrilling the mira hubs.

some random machine shop could do this fairly easy.

the wheels are off a formula ford, they are 4x98 with a 10mm hole and they need to be drilled out to 4x100 with 12mm holes, so not really worth modding the hubs

Excuse me while I put my crack pipe down, but wouldn't overboring each hole by the required 2mm dia give you the required 100mm PCD?

If so this would not be an expensive exercise, even at the aforementioned shops.

They will still need a tapered seat machined into the rim, as well as a sleeve put in as well I think, that's what looks to be in there now anyway from what I can see.

I think that I am correct in that they will need to have the holes drilled to one edge of the current ones as the pcd is measured from the centre of the holes and needs to be moved 2mm outwards from what it is now? Rather than just bored out by a couple of mm?

I'll just go back to my crack pipe.
