HI guys im sick of this dam 4k, its time to upgrade a little. im after a smallport 4A package, all i need really is the motor with a complete loom and ecu. if anyone has one or knows who does please let me know asap. i have cash at the ready. no time to screw around cheers

I have one.

U mean the 100KW 4AGe I assume.

The one I have is intact with the loom ECU with cruise control.

U'll need a gasket kit though for it.

Intake manifold has been converted to RWD (cut & shut).

KYSAN- How many k's has the motor done? and what price were you looking at?

to be honest i'm not sure. Bought it off the ae86dc forums some 3 years ago and the seller told me that it had approx 90k on the clock at the time he pulle it. He was an apprentice mechanic working at mercedes i think.

I paid $1300 for it and will accept any reasonable offer.


Its pretty clean. He had painted ovr the rocker cover in black with the words in blue.

okay, sounds sweet. so atm it is running? what did u mean u needs a gasket kit ? it doesnt need a head gasket replacement does it? i dont want to offend you or anything , so ill get you to set me a reasonable price. cheers

It's not running atm and i never got the opportunity to test it. Far as I can tell it does not need a new head gasket but if you buy a full gasket kit from what I understand you'll get one anywayz. I think its more the intake manifold, rocker cover and exhaust manifold that require the gaskets.

The previous owner had had put a new timing belt on it at the time and it turns freely the last time i checked so the engine hasn't seized.

Would be nice to get at least half of what I spent on it but it is somewhat negotiable (more would always be nice but I am trying to sell the thing) so say $650 as a starting point?

There are 2 other parties interested in coming over to take a look at the engine, my ae86 and misc parts including front cut this sat though (thought I'd let you know to be fair)
