you cant have a 2-way torsen ...that does not make sense.
to be a 2-way diff, it must be one of the plate types.
if its 4.7 and plate type, i'm interested

i'm still waiting on confirmation of ratio and what centre it really is. i need to buy a centre in the next few weeks, so if its too hard, i'll start chasing elsewhere. just let me know. thanks

pics up now mate
check them out

you cant tell anything from those pics. it could be a stock diff. get some close-ups of the hemisphere. the original genuine TRD ones are machined cases, not cast like these appear. to see if its a 2 way or what, the hemosphere has to be rotated so the sungear axles can be seen.
count the teeth on both crwon wheel and pinion and work out the ratio
terryo - TRD centres are all cast. stock toyota and other aftermarket are machined. as a random picture off the web shows - TRD centre in housing, stock lsd on the ground
and japan86, if you are unable to count the turns, if memory serves me correctly the ratio should be stamped into the side of the crown wheel. it'll be something like 49:12 (just as an example, i dont know off the top of my head what the numbers will be).
Thanks 70XIN your a champion i was just about to say the same thing about TRD all being cast centres. My cucso one is machined. The hole on the side is a different shape to the stock ones too
Yeah there is nothing stamped on this one which is strange ill just have to count the teeth.
cheers Tris
