    TO REMOVE ADS, PLEASE
    REGISTER OR SIGN IN
    thinkin about doin carbies on a 4age or even possibly a 7age. What do you Recommend im thinkin 45mm webers? also do you still need a ecu?

    no ecu needed, need to modify the distributor i believe. couple of other things you need to do, have you tried searching?

    Yeah, the car wont pass emissions requirements with carbies. The car must maintain all factory emissions equipment from the car which the engine came out of. This includes the EFI system.

    But as with anything, if you know the right people you can get anything passed. Doesn't make it legal though.
