thinkin about doin carbies on a 4age or even possibly a 7age. What do you Recommend im thinkin 45mm webers? also do you still need a ecu?

Yeah, the car wont pass emissions requirements with carbies. The car must maintain all factory emissions equipment from the car which the engine came out of. This includes the EFI system.
But as with anything, if you know the right people you can get anything passed. Doesn't make it legal though.
