I was looking for one of these jacks. Repco stock and sell them. Receipt doogie-ness could still be done! or they might be able to recommend someone? maybe.
but yeah, you would think anyone in the hydraulics business would be able to help
ever used a for sale forum???
if it's a good jack, you should be able to sell it for a good percentage of what you paid for it, then you end up with a jack that works and a little bit less cash, than having a broken jack at the moment and already forking out for it.
iirc, omega jacks are in Rowville Vic, you may be able to contact them directly and plead your case. no supplier likes to hear a case of their product leaving a sour taste in a customers mouth.
they may be able to diagnose it over the phone based on what you tell tham it is or isn't doing.
have you tried dismantling it yet?
a hydraulic cylinder has a pretty basic operating principle, so it could just be a blown o-ring.
any hydraulic specialist should be able to fix it if you can't.
good luck.

Cheers, plohl
yeah not into buying stuff and flogging it off again, I already do this way to much.
I'll look those places up and see what they can do if a hydraulic specialist cant fix it, but as mentioned above I'm pretty sure its just a blown seal/o-ring that is the problem, so defiantly shouldn't be hard nor expensive (touch wood) to fix..
cheers for the info's fellas
