    Default so it begins...

    so i sold this



    brought a KE70 standard as which i dont have first photos of....


    brought the engine and few pieces out of this



    did a little bit of work one night to take drifting



    now have a collection of parts yet to go in the KE but at the moment very standard until i have all the parts to fit.

    so i got bucket loads of stuff from AJPS recently and more still to come. this is the rx7 brake upgrade on coilies ready to go in once i get my ball joints and steering arms,

    veddy nice did the 86 hubs give you the strut clearance?

    sure did mate.

    well over the last week i have got heaps done, suspension pretty much done except a few little things. rebuilt all the steering components, bushes, fitted the coilies and brakes, t3 lca and whatever inbetween. Engine and w57 are bolted together all ready to be thrown in and thanks to aaron (h8chir6ku) i got all the crossmembers, pedal box and few other parts for the conversion.

    so the shopping list looks like this

    4agte
    stage 2 cams, valves, forged pistons that is slightly higher comp. Engine built in japan by HKS Gunsei
    3SGE injectors
    SR20 Engine management with nistune.
    HKS Top mount turbo manifold. T25 Turbo. Custom dump and exhaust.

    7kg front coilies
    cusco cambertops
    ajps rca
    ajps 6kg rears
    ajps rear spring perch
    ajps handbrake button
    ajps extra lock spacer
    ajps rx7 brake caliper adapters
    new rackends, tie rods

    What size rims? Do you need to run spacers for caliper clearance?

    those are 15' but i think 14 mayyyy fit not sure i can try sometime... and yeah had to run an 8mm slip on for clearance but i dont plan on keeping the rims much longer

    Cheers, doing the same setup on my bro's car and he's looking at getting 15X7 +-0 Rota Grid's. Still just working stuff out before buying.

    How's the switchover from AE86 to KE70 treatin' you? Do you prefer the rigidity of the sedan shell?
