Default 4agze starts then stalls 1-2 sec later wtf

Hey guys ive recently finished my 4agze conversion into my ae86 and now the only thing left is that it fires up fine but then just stalls bout 2 seconds after, ive been told its got to do with timing by one person and fuel by another person, so I just thought id post a thread up here and see what the experts thing it might be, its the only thing left to get this baby on the road lol thanks in advance

I'd start by checking the FOC relay wiring... Is your gze map or afm?

If map the ecu will provide the earth to the foc, if afm the afm will.

In "MOST" cases the wire you are looking for is green with a red stripe.

Was it running fine before or have you/someone changed something and it started doing this after?

It was running fine in the ae92 but that dizzy thing or whatever it is called that goes into the cams was loose when I bought the engine so im guessing the timing has been played with

FOC is fuel open circuit relay...

Check your timing next and don't forget to bridge the diag terminals first.

If I'm correct you can check the timing by putting the first cylinder on top dead center (remove your oil cap and you should see a mark on the cam that's half obscured by the baffle in the filler opening) Then mark where your dizzy is, remove it and check if the marks on that one line up.

if its popping and idling shit then dies i'd say its dropping a cylinder. will it run when you press the throttle? sounds like a rough v8? check spark to all plugs
    stroked 2L ca18-ae86 in the build...eta xmas 2012?
