Well, what a weekend!
Just got home with the cars....
My 86 ended it's Matsuri mid afternoon on Sunday, after busting my steering rack on a ripple strip, and just became uncontrolable with that damage, with my last few laps just spinning out with no front end control. The car is looking well drifted, front bar only just hanging on, and is dirty/muddy all over......
Good to meet 'Sotiros86' and 'HJ60'. Sotiros86 car was looking awesome......
There were plenty of KE70's, which was great to see, but sadly only 3 AE86's (maxhag/me, TTZ32 Driver, Sotiros86)
Not really much of a "NSW AE/KE Quarter Year Rendezvous" as this thread suggests tho. If fact, it wasn't at all..... Fail on that side of things
And what happened to 'Rice86'? Didn't even come/say hi........

Yeah I was there in the background most of the time
The rendezvous side of things did fail as expected, no surprise there, just not many ae/ke.. What can you do.
On another note I was juggling between shooting everyone doing there best laps, to pit lanes when possible though nearly everyone of you guys were on the track lining up, sorry I couldn't meet everyone in person, I tried to when I thought possible
Shooting from the outside of the track meant very limited access to best footage and with only 1 person and 1 camera trying to capture everything, way hard but I did my best.
Group shot wasnt going to happen at all how the event had ran. All you guys were too keen to stay on the track as you already didn't have much time so I didn't bother trying to gather everyone as track time was already minimum.
I don't have a computer at home so it will take sometime to make and post a video, hopefully this will draw out more ae/ke on our next one?
Overall got sunburnt, Ok footage, meet a few new faces.. I'd drink to that
