So the interior of my soarer has these gross white plastic bits i want to paint a different colour.
Basically what i need to paint is the gearknob surround, centre console, dash surround and door plastics.
What's the best way to paint these, what paint etc? Was thinking just some plastic primer and similar paint? Any pointers would be sweet
hahaha it's going to be hot pink..
yeah plastic prime them so the paint will stick. rub them back with some scotch bright or 800 wet and dry should do the trick - plastic prime - light rub back if neccesary then paint colour of ur choice

I have tried both the Septone and the K&H products . I found that the K&h BUMPER AND TRIM PAINT TO BE THE BEST . With it no under coat required , just a good clean surface( do not use thinners or prep wash , use a white spirirt ( metho or turps ) wipe on with a wet cloth then wipe dry with a clean dry cloth. It also give great cover on repaired areas . I have just finished another rebuild and did bumpers, mirrors and interoir with K&H with good results.

I just got a replacement dash for Ae71, but its brown and want to paint it black.
So 2 years down the track, does this peel up?
Try vynal die. Won't crack or lift cause its dieing the vynal not just putting later of colour offer the top

I've had good luck with that VHT vinyl die as well. It lasts too.
