    Default starting the car

    hey,
    having a lil problem with starting my car, its nothing major but can get annoying, so in the morning when i start the car it starts straight away but after i drive it to work and go back out at the end of my shift it takes ages to start it just cranks over but does still start ever time does anybody no what the problem could be?
    any help would be appriceated, i also did a quick forum search and nothing came up for this exact problem

    Could be starter motor on it's way out, First check that..

    Been having the same issue. Starter is getting too hot, its the warmer weather for me. I added more heath shielding around the starter, heat wrapped my headers and added some ducting to push cool air from the front of the car to the underneath of the starter.

    maybe where you park at work the fuel drains back out of the rail. try turning the key to on for a little bit before hitting start

    Similar issue on my old mans ae82 with a silvertop.... But i have NFI what it is.

    When cranking what does your tach read? Not sure if 500rpm is normal, but that is what my old man is getting.

    It might pay to also check that the FOC is wired right on yours, so the fuel pump is being powered whilst you are attempting to start.
