    Default bolt on flares?

    hey guys

new to the hole ke70 thing, just got some 15x10 wheels and was wondering if i could buy some bolt on flares and bog/mould them to my car so they just look like regular guards, rather than just flare my existing guards.

just wondering if anyone has done this or has a pic of it done and if it gives you much more room for wheels.

    thanks, andrew

    15x10 wheels...neg offset?
You can bolt on flares, though if you want to run the car low or flush with the guard, the metal guard will need to be rolled or flared anyways or even cut.
Show pics with the wheel on the car and car on all four wheel, not on car stands lol

for a 10 on a ke. depending on the offset, youre gonna need something pretty big. dave at AJPS can supply Origin ones as far as i know. these are made to suit ae86 but im pretty sure people on here have made plenty of 86 over fenders work on ke's before.

10" on a ke is a bit silly though..

i'm fitting "bolt on" flares that will be fibreglassed into the body work to give an integrated look... but this is on a TA22 Celica, not a KE70.

you will need to cut away the factory guards front & rear... and on the rear you'll need to join the inner guard skin with the outter skin - because once cut there will be a gap. hard to explain.

Dave at ajps doesn't sell the origin copies anymore,
Best ones to get are rears for 240z, I'm going down this road to, it's not up everyone's ally but who cares.

oh sorry i forgot to mention there 15x10 0 offset, i dont have these wheels atm so unfortunately i cant get pics of them on the car, ive only ordered them for now! 10 might be a bit silly but i want that wide track look like sundee86's display picture, without the use of bolt on spacers etc.
am i better off getting a set of 8 or 9 inch whide wheels instead?
ive started to flare the oringinal rear guards out now but like most ke's rust has gotten the better of the old girl and i dont have access to a welder, so im susing other options at this stage
its only to be a track car so they dont have to be 100% legally under the guards or anything but i want it as close as i possibly can
thanks for all your suggestions guys its much appreciated,
    andrew.

I sat my old 15x9-14 meisters on my ke and they poked alot. They are alot different to 86's and can't handle a big wheel. I'm assuming you got superlites? 15x8-4 all round would be much easier to fit and look better IMO but it's all up to what you think looks good
    stroked 2L ca18-ae86 in the build...eta xmas 2012?

I fit 15 x 10 - 12 on my ke, stock LCA , full lock, no scrub, have to fold over the inner seam in the wheel well and you will be fine, though if you have zero offset you are 12mm more inboard then me so you may have issues
