Initial plan for this car was a cheap throw-together to take to archy/small tracks. N/A CA, welded diff, some stiff springs...

How it started...


Bought a CA and made the mounts...


Went to superlap and stopped in at Otomoto and bought a pile of wheels...


Strayed from the initial plan and purchased a little HKS2510


Got an alloy rad for it and jzx100 side mount, all fits well..


Since going turbo decided it needed a diff upgrade, looked at some options and chose an s13 rear end....so chopped up the back to make some room for it...the cradle is in and mounted, now to close the floor back in where Iv cut it all out..





And thats about where Im up to, picked up a Microtech for 500$, takin the motor to get a rebuild...got to find a clutch setup, get it tuned at about 18psi and see what it does....depending on the time frame the motor takes itl probably end up getting a respray and tidy up while I wait....

My 550$ of purchases....


Got these finished off finally, will be trial and error to see how they go.....another step closer to getting the body side of things done....
Engine has been dropped off to receive some machining and balancing and a few tweaks....



And these....shortened them alot, shorter then p/s arms. Will be interesting to see how they go.



Frontend is back together, ready to be dropped back onto the ground, still got to drop the cradle out and weld off a few areas from the bottom that i cant get to, then most of the fab work is done....
Got this done today, strut mounts are welded in and a few sections to replace the missing rails...




Been collecting some more parts for this to get it all moving along, got a set of 560cc injectors nice and cheap, picked up an alloy balancer and pulley kit, got some cam gears on there way. Now the balancer has turned up I can get the bottom end balanced and the bottom can start to be assembled...

Yea, should be a good track car when finished, plan for the weekend is to sheet in the floor that has been cut out and seal off the boot area. Engine has been measured up by the engine builder and is all good, hes got to do a few things to the bottom end then its off for balancing, then assembly. Il probably fab up a bigger capacity sump and change the oil pickup setup while I wait for it.
