You will be right with the F diff... Unless ygot chasing 500 ponies , she might loose some teath then.
Also G series don't have any LSD options that I'm aware of.. I may be wrong though.
    Love this rig

Ps- what x member did you use? Got pics of the mounts?

I didn't do the original 2j conversion, but as far as I'm aware it utilises the original corona x-member with modified welded in new sections between

Land/Range rover rubber mounts and then jza80 engine mounts to the block, which is the rearward of the two available positions on the block.

The jzx100 mounts as I found sit on the forward position on the block, but as is the beauty of these engines all was interchangeable.

    2j

The 2j had a modified pan section as it used the jza80 mid sump, now the 1j has a front sump which had to be notched for the corona front bar...

    1j

I'm looking at having a bar done up to clear the pan at some stage also.

Axle tramp be a bitch in this car, cut springs with no rate is the cause, will fix springens when the bank account is more sprungen...

Until then some decent shocks will dampened the problem...

And some more boost, as that helps axle tramp...

15 pound town on the gauge, shut glovebox, no poundage ossifer...

    Lol...

Would be an interesting discussion with the officer... "Yeah i got it cheap of some kid who said it was stock.... I dunno i just put petrol in it and drive, it does use allot of fuel though... but the other month i was feeling brave and changed a flat tyre"

Seriously tho, this car is awesome and has come a long way since you purchased it....

ADGP had their first round down here in Tassie at Symmons Plains raceway last weekend, so I took the opportunity to get some more track time and entered in privateer class.

Had a ball rang dangin' the f^&* out of the old girl all weekend.

Qualified 14th in a sea of Nissans but was knocked out from there, first event I have ever entered so it was great to watch and learn and a awesome two days of track time.

Car still tramps like a bitch, I reckon my pinion angle may be the problem so I'm going to try some traction brackets.

Going to fit an AJPS rack spacer which should complement the lengthened LCA's nicely.

Need to be order a front bar sway bar v soon also as the thing just rolls around too much.

Also feels a little down on power, I have a feeling the extreme button clutch is starting to waver a little, will thrash it till it dies and then probably go a custom NPC single plate jobbie and chromoly fly.

Real PITA as the box out and in isn't very straight forward in this thing.

Then some springs, front shocks, RCA's and camber tops all in time and as the $$$ are forthcoming.

Seems the 86 traction brackets wont fit these.

Are the rear upper and lower arms the same length/close to 86's in these?

The crush tube widths for the bush mounts are the same according to the Nolathane catalouge, so thinking if the lengths are close I may be able to use a set of 86b adjustable arms.

Out with the tape measure tomorrow I spose.

Theory is pinion angle needs a change (in conjunction with a few other details), so I got on the phone to Mcdonald Brothers racing and had them send me some 3/4 UNC turn buckles and nuts.

Then took them and a set of top arms to my fabricator and had him do his magic...

Tail shaft setup to be attacked next after this weekends practice, at which point I expect the current clutch to be raped beyond reprimand...
