Hey guys,
This probably sounds like a proper noob question and it most probably is, but I need an answer.
So a couple of weeks ago I noticed a large rattle from my front right wheel area every time I hit a bump, the steering wheel was a bit shakey at speed and car didn't feel as direct as it usually does. So I had a look around and found the LCA stabilizer bar was heaps loose on the end that mounts to the bracket on the chassis rail.
So I tightened it up, noise is gone and steering is heaps more firm and direct again. Although it seems really firm at the end of lock(may have tightened it to much?).
My question, as stupid as it is.
What does the adjustment on this bar affect? Will tightening it to far have an adverse affect or change anything in my alignment etc, etc.
The manual states that you need to measure the distance from the rear nut to the first bolt on the LCA to 371.9mm, I have rose jointed LCA's so i don't know this will still apply to me.
Anyway any help would be appreciated, cheers.
it will change caster - put it on a wheel aligner
or try and get them even for now
was it loose at the front or on the lca end?
Also your swaybar links (in photo) are too tight

Hey, thanks for the info.
I thought it would affect my castor. It was loose on the front end, I could move it with my hand.
Really, how tight should they be?
Thanks again.
a bit of "crush" on the bushes but not till they squeeze out like that
i think he means the caster rod?
which should be a lot tighter than the link rod at both ends!
