smaller, lighter, more/cheaper aftermarket parts, more specialised tuners
Still not better, more expensive to buy I bought a whole car for 1200, and already have someone interested in buying gearbox interior parts and the wheels it came with.
How much power is needed in such a light chassis? Will just be leaving the engine completely standard (other than a free flowing exhaust after std manifolds) for a while once running,

Also the worst part of it all knowing that you have dirty commodore engine in your car, eww I don't think I could do it haha.

Ls1 certainly isnt 'better' than a 1uz
its application dependent but seriously
the early ones were unreliable, just big rattly things
1uz is smooth (sort of) economical and it revs and they can cop it all day
