    Default engine mounts

    i got a silver top 20valve going into one of my e7's i'm after some 4age engine mount brackets the ones that bolt to block can i just normal 4age fwd drive brackets or do they have to be rwd ones i already got the rwd engine mounts them selves i was just wondering if the brackets are different before i buy some...

    u need mounts from a 4ac ae86 or a 4ac ae71

    all aus delivered ones (that u will find at a wrecker) that the build plate says "ae71 or ae86" will have what you want

    if you already have an ae71 then the stock engine mounts will bolt up BUT with the silvertop 20v the bottom rear hole of the alternator bracket will foul on it as they use the same stud/bolt hole, what i did was grind the alternator bracket back so it fit flush over the top of the engine mount
