At the moment I'm running a cooler from a VT Commonwhore. Canadian made core, holds about 500ml, runs through Pirtek line with nylon sleeve. Runs from stock Toyota sandwich plate to core back into the sump. Normal highway driving doesn't go above 80degrees and flogging goes no-more than 100degrees.

Greddy sandwich plate with built in thermostat...only way to go! Moroso do a built in thermostat option also I believe.

Sounds about right with a bash plate. My cooler sits between the bumper and radiator wall on the passenger side. Seems to get enough air flow.

In the process of sorting this out for my car at the moment. I just got this, had to request with the seller to provide 3/4 -16 thread size. Was an extra $7 for AN10 fittings also. Quality looks good, I had to ditch the stock 4A filter size (Z386) and replace with 1MZ camry filter (Z418) due to oil seal diameter being too small. Z418 camry filter and sanwich plate together total at 130mm long so add 10mm to that to be safe for spinning on your filter. Not too sure if it will suit your application on the 3S.

Also got some straight AN10 hose ends for $12 each free post from another seller.

    And this 25 core...

Mounted it up high next to the drivers side headlight with the fittings pointing towards the passenger side of car so the straight hose fittings can loop in towards the oil filter through the passenger side of rad support (added windlacing to hole also to not have a cutting/sharp hole) (can post pics if interested)

Going to Pirtek tomorrow if I get time for hose.
