problem - no rev reading on dash
occurs/started when (if applicable)- when car is on
personal situation (if applicable)- heard something awhile back about soldering some resistors in the dash but cant confirm.

Have you got your tacho signal wire coming from the right spot? Is it from the computer or from a coil or igniter?

Follow Skylar's link. After I did my 20v conversion to my AE86 I was not getting any RPM/Revs on the stock tacho. After we did this small fix up costing around $2-3 it was all good. It may be close to 100rpms out but its better than it just always sitting on zero. good luck
