Oil pressure sender.
i have a litle stray wire at the front of the engine like i am holding in my hand and a closeup of the plug is blowing up in the photo... anyone knows where this is suppost to go? and if its important.
Oil pressure sender.
wher its connected?
Where that braided line comes out of the block I would say! Normally there is either a oil pressure switch (little knob thingo) or a sender (big bell thingo). It sends a reading of oil pressure to the dash. I assume that line is for an aftermarket oil pressure gauge?
Little round cylinder in the block, drop the wire down should be in that region...has a little nipple on the end, slide the wire on it
MOPAR or no car!
its big bell thingo , ys ther is after market oil pressure gauges installed. so no need of this switch? shall i drop it freely?
Yeah, just zip tie it to the rest of the loom there or run a t-piece for both gauges. No harm in not running it.
it looks like this.
yeah leave it loose/
the other end of that wire is down by the ECU plugs in the LH kick panel. On an original car, there would have been another dash harness that connects to that plug (near the ecu) that goes to the dash.
thanks alot Timbo, Mclevin & slide
