Once car is back keen for a meet/drive anywhere!
if it keeps pissing down rain like this, can we just turn this grip day into a drift day? come on, it will be alot more fun
iam out if its wet..... waste of time.....
1974 MX22 MARK II CORONA HARDTOP COUPE - Awaiting a full restoration
Just a thought, if everyone pulls out because it's wet, then with minimum drivers attending, sliding wouldn't be a real problem?
I'm just saying because last time a work mate went for a speed off the street day held by Wakefield themselves, only 5 cars rocked up and there was no marshals on the track, it was open for them to do whatever... Though there was no drifters so I can't really say if it was ok since they all just mostly grip drove on the track.. But maybe something worth finding out with Wakefield?
dose
Bad news
i just called
Me " if its wet and minimum cars show, only a hand full, will drifting be allowed on the track at all"
wakefield " no drifting will be allowed at all"
Me " ok thank you"
well looks like it is a waste of time if its wet after all

thought i just chime in .
dont see why everyone is scared of a little rain ...
rain / a wet track is the best thing for an inexperinced driver .. means you learn 10 times more about throttle / brake control then you will ever in the dry. its alot of fun !
