    Default Spark plugs for 4age

    G'day folks,

Just wondering what spark plugs people would recommend using in a bigport 4age.
The car is used for drift so it gets hammered if that makes a difference.

    Cheers

firstly, if the car is gonna be given a hard time dont even look at iridium or platinum. they'll foul out quicker and cost you 10x more money for no gain.
you should only run standard copper plugs especially for drifting. dont trust my memory too much but i think they are NGK part number: BCPR6ES-11
ill double check for you tonight.
main reason why i use NGK is because i know they work, and i always have them in stock at my work.

Yeah fair enough, I have just done the head and rings after I blew the gasket and found it had 3 standard and 1 iridium/platinum, the cylinder that had that plug had some damage in the comb chamber that seamed like detonation, do hopefully if I put a new standard set in I won't have a problem

Yeah, I am running bcpr6es-11 in mine too, remember to check gaps before you put em in too, they vary a little out of the packet.
