Sorry to be a downer but way too much HDR or at least not the correct saturation.

Other than that, not too bad on the framing

I miss Vegas... I want to go back next year

I've just moved to Melbourne and I decided to go for a roam around Richmond the other day. Seeing as I was the only one there I took a few photos of myself. These are their stories.

Getting my photography nerd on, using a sound trigger that sets off the flash when there is a noise.

    Hah that's awesome.

What shutter speed you using on those?

I've been kicking around with a pair of EOS 550D's for a while. One zoom lense, the other with a 50mm 1.8

But I got the bug last night and bought a second hand EOS5000 for doing some film work

Ahh I think it was around half a second, in a blacked out room. Its the flash that freezes the action, as it is much quicker than the shutter can be. So I had the flash on another tripod connected to the microphone/trigger. You can change the delay after the pop too, so it takes a while to get right.
Yeah I have a 7d with a few lenses, just got a tamron 90mm macro so hopefully will be getting some nicer shots. The bug is a rather expensive one to have, my gear worth more than my car..

Recently i got an 8mm Rokinon fisheye for ultrawide architecture stuff in Europe, and interesting converging line shots (cant wait to use it for Galerie Lafayette), but seeing as it was new I had to give it a workout.

Went down to the TCCV Cars, Coffee, and Donuts meeting last weekend and had a bit of a muck around.

Also giving LR4 a trial to see whether it can sway me away from Aperture, so please excuse some of the very cliched presets.

Always very weird shooting stuff about 20-30mm away from the object and getting so much in. Those grille shots were basically hard up against the car...
