Default Best Coilovers for AE86?? $2000-$3000

    Car - AE86
    Engine - 16v
use - street, drift, grip...no dirt

currently have: Chopped lowered springs front, dead shocks
lowered Rear springs, Red short stroke tokico?? shocks to suit
    both unknown spring rates
Rear suspension on the car feels good for what it is, fronts are shit, fronts don't match the rear

    Needs new suspension
Willing to spend $2000-$3000 for complete setup
have considered BC coilovers, Mugan for cheaper bang for buck option but after a hard long thought last night, and flipping the pages of my N2 AE86 book trying to decode japans language to find out what N2 AE86 cars are running, i got no where

all i know is most of them run all CUSTOM springs and shock combination to have the perfect setup for their cars

So me being very so lightly knowledgeable of the suspension world, im taking the easy way out

What company still makes top notch coilovers for AE86? ive googled and not many results came up for AE86 coilovers
only ones ive come across are Greedy Type S coilovers that are worth taking further interest into but im looking for something better then this option if possible for the budget
needs to be streetable but bloody UP THERE when taken to the track..like as if i'll be competing in world time attack because race car

i know many other things will effect how the car rides but im only talking about coilover options here

    D2 - dont want
    BC - dont want
    Mugan - dont want
    APEXI - dont want
coilovers found on ebay - dont want
    Greedy - considered
MCNSPORT - i haven't taken interest but they seem like the others to me, BC, D2 etc..
SHOCKWORKS - THE WINNER! 5x better than the BC's i previously had

    dose

Shock works coilovers are the best coilover on the market and extremely cheap IMO.

Great company to deal with and excellent customer service and post fitment support.

Pm shift_rook (chris) on here, for that kind of money he should be able to to set you up with some bilsteins that his old man has tried and tested to get the perfect valving for.

    Cheers Will.

Yeah get onto shift_rook (that's his username).

His dad owns shock works , they make amazing coilovers for the ae86 for around 2k.

Similar to what you'd expect to find in a race car

Shockworks have a massive piston and great ride comfort.

    Very amazing setup.

Driftworks? never tried them myself. I know you do not want BC's but there are a few people running them.
