they look like hotwires
Can anyone help me identify these wheels? I THINK they are a replica of an Enkei wheel perhaps but am not sure so trying to work out what the hell they actually are!
The wheel is marked JAPAN 947L 5A-1 14x7 49.7 1944- U.S.D.E.S. Patent 230353 Max wheel load 1580lbs on the back but then has a max load rating in Lbs so something tells me they are not made in Japan!
Anyway... pictures:
Any ideas or suggestions? All help is very much appeciated!

found a couple of other wheels that are pretty much the same thing:
Googling "Enkei Deep Mesh" brings up photos of these, so does "Enkei Hotwire" which I guess means they are Enkei or replica's of?
After a bit of digging I spoke to the guy who put these wheels on my car and it turns out they are Wire Mags made by Appliance and are not reproductions.
I have 6 of these wheels, a full set in 14 x 7 - 10 - stamped into the back and Enkei Japan stamped in the back.
The other pair I have is 14 x 8 - 6 and has the same stamped into the back with Enkei Japan
I have seen some that aren't stamped as Enkeis, have you checked the back of your wheels?
Yeah, the back of my wheels only contains the info in my 1st post. I was expecting these to be Enkei's but the fact that the wheels are marked in Lbs and just say Japan (not made in Japan) makes me think these are not Enkei - Enkei usually have a cast mark with the logo on them.
Plus, I spoke to the guy that bought them, and he confirmed they are indeed Appliance.
I've sold these to a good buddy of mine now on the condition that I can buy them back at the same price at any time - and he helps me fit my new engine. Sweet deal
Appliance are the US rip offs/remakes, I had a set a few years back, Enkei Focus is the model they immitate
