    Default KE70 Drift/Track Car Build.

    Hey guys/girls.

Picked up a KE70 sedan off a mate for an awesome price, needs a fair bit of work, but hey, for the price and whats included, who can complain!

Basically is a roller, had a 16v 4AGE in it with box atm, needed tail shaft and to be wired up...

Its going to be a Track only car. Not to see rego again!

    Plans WHEN I GOT IT:

Well, as we know, plans change quick...

    UPDATE:

-4AGE setup is sold. Motor box etc etc..
    -CA18det Purchased.
    -S13 Cross member/LCA's/Coil overs Acquired
    -Fixed Buckets acquired (pair)

So basically i changed my mind on getting the 4AGE running. Mainly cause i had a CA come up at a price too good to refuse!

So sold the motor for a profit on what i paid for the whole setup! But that didn't come without its drama's..

Pick up the CA soon. Just need to organise a time. Will be a stock setup. Dont need anything crazy. 150rwkw is all I'm aiming for!

Took the 4AGE motor out today, inc 4A member, and my mate brought over my S13 one, Bolts pretty much STRAIGHT in. #Winning.! Just need to elongate the holes. No biggy.

Get the other fiddly bits tomorrow.

    Still need to get:
-S13 Steering Rack (anyone got one)
    -Solid engine mounts
    -Tail shaft
-Custom exhaust (straight pipe dumped out the side after drivers door)

    Long run:
    -Cage
    -R31 Diff.

Also purchased guard mirror's for extra JDM spec. And roof basket for USDM swag? haha.

Considering buying some Sunrayiser 4WD rims and getting them redrilled to suit. 15x10 FTW. Drift spec much?

    Anyways.. Pics!

As it sat 2 days ago..

    Old 4AGE

    Today!

    S13 Cross member bolted in!

    Random Photochop!

So yeah, this is where it is at atm...

    Thoughts/suggestions welcomed!

    AND finally....

Ild like to thank my Sponsor's: Battery World Caringbah, Australia Wide Towing, Awesome Racewear, Blake Skipper Motorsport and VIP Motorsport.

So yeah, this is my build, thoughts/questions/suggestions welcome, ASLONG as it is positive!

    Love beige ke's
Nice pigglet, re r31 diff with 15x10
Is that shortened? Or you going cby bolt ons?
Stock track, 15 x 10 neg 12 and front on rear conversion still falls 10mm short

Just to give you an idea man.
Good old CA's good to see something other then an SR

Wont be 15x10. Was Just a joke. haha.

15x8 I reckon would be a pretty safe width for the rear. Maybe x7 on front.

As for offset, haven't gotten that far yet. Just playing with the ideas.

Not worrying about rims till the car is running

The ca will most proly blow the stock diff as u drive out the driveway for the first test drive. Would make that part of the short list to. Will also save u having to get 2 tail shafts made. And 15x10's ftw. Get a hilux diff they are a little shorter then standard Ke diffs so u can run the big rims no dramas.

Hilux is a G series, has an 8" crown, F series has a 7.5" crown.

if you did a 5 lug conversion up front it would make things easy... just get boned on wheel selection a little

F diff is lighter, 2 track options available ( cant remember measurements ) one is same as standard 86, from MKII corona, other from YR22 Tarago and is approx +25mm each side from stock 86 track. will handle a beating all day long
G series, dont know much about, except its 5 stud and an 8" center and heavier.
