Default Blue smoke... Not winfield :(

    Hey guys,

I apoligize in advance for the noob questions, ive been back tracking the tech section for specific answers but i cant find anything,

    Car- AE86

    4AGE, T25G on a kelford manifold, microtech lt10.

Picked it up yesterday, there is some small issues, but the biggest ones that need urgent attention are

-"White" smoke coming off the turbo itself, appears to be coming from the Rubber drain hose
    -Blue smoke from exhaust
-Visible oil coming from the aftermarket breather on the intake cam cover
    -slight miss at idle

    Im hoping that
-the white smoke will just be build up in the oil drain off the turbo as it has been sitting for a while
-the blue smoke is just a exhaust housing seal / rich tune
-im going to fit a catch can and the oil coming out of the breather is just normal operation, with car sitting for so long that oil has built up in the breathing and is misting out from there
-New plugs and a few tanks of 98 to fix the miss.

If anyone has had similar drama's or can help me out that would be much appreciated,

    Jacob

Blue smoke is oil burning... Comp / leakdown test it.

You've got blow by, can be as simple as insufficient breathing of the cam covers, or as bad as rings being shot.

above, thats what i was thinking, turbo seal fucked leaking oil into the exhaust housing, causing blue smoke. Any ideas on the smoke coming form the drain?

When I fucked out the rear seal on a hybred mazda/garret on a 13BT motor the oil would seep through the rear housing onto the centre cartridge and would produce smoke when it heated up. Could be this...

Yeah Futo that's what i am hoping, replacement t25 is on the way, went to tidy up a small oil leak from the feed line at the block, went to undo with virtually no weight and SCHINK, thread is in the block, the fitting is my hand, and easy out is failing Whats a hobby without its downsides though.
