There is a term that the police use internally for the video footage they are recording, once you drop that their attitude normally changes. Give them lip and they'll find another 5-6 defects to add to the list. Most don't care if they incorrectly defect you, because they get paid to goto court you don't, and there is no compensation for you if you get off either no matter how blatently wrong the defects are. So for them it is a win / win either way.
Anyway, keen for this meet. There hasn't been one in a while.

I really can't empathize for the police in that situation... like, a red label? Srsly? Defects I can understand, but to remove the right to register the car is just over kill unless the car is a serious danger to public safety :\

Not remove the right to register, you just can't drive it on the roads at all until it's all fixed, thats all.
yup..cops can yellow or red label your car upon their own choice, obviously if your car is more "hot" up, your most likely going to have to tow it home meaning paying for tow truck from your own pocket..or if you have a trailer, still a total fuck around
Just don't go under 100mm in height or close and wheels poking out and loud exhaust, 3 easy things for cops to notice your car and pull you over for a closer look..you might think its not much, but fuck me they can and will try to drill a bigger hole up your behind..
if you do, you should already know what your getting yourself into..
