    Default RCA's

After a cheap 2nd hand pair of normal RCA's for 86 struts. I'm using ajps 8kg springs so I think about 40mm rca's are what I'm after?

    Show me what you got

the spring rate isnt really what determines if you need RCA's..

the ride height is. they are put in place to correct the LCA angle

Yeh I realise that but I said that I had 8kg ajps springs which give a certain ride height in the front right??

no. you can get any length of spring you want??

edit: sorry, not meaning to be hostile..
8kg spring will always have the same amount of droop no matter what lenth
but differennces in free hieght (uncompressed lenth) can vary anywhere from about 180mm to say 250mm?

Ahh ok I think I understand what you're saying, I was just under the impression that if I had these certain springs then they would always require the same size rca (40mm) to get rid of bump steer, unless they had been cut etc.

But just to clarify, should I take any sort of measurements on the car or should 40mm be what I'm after?

are you running longer control arms or stock? If you are 40mm should be fine, if u want slightly more camber 30mm nrca will do the job for stock arms. Either way both reduces bump steer. Hope that helps

You're a bit cheaper than ajps so same goes, if I don't find anyone wanting to get rid of 2nd handies then you will be hearing from me
