Default 4AC fuel pump - replace mechanical pump or put in eleectic pump?

Anyone able to prove advice. I am getting my 4AC engine operational and mechanical fuel pump has died.

The question is should I replace the existing mechanical pump with same or install electric.

The mechanical replacement is $238 at Repco and is a straight forward replacement. Does anyone know where I can buy it cheaper ie America?

However an electric would offer some advantages in terms of being able to install a kill switch.

    Look forward to soem advice.

    Cheers

Get a tacho metric relay from someone who does lpg conversions if you go for electric.

They work by getting the rpm signal
