XT130 Coilovers with 266mm brakes/short knuckles/hubs/new bearings etc.. suit AE71 / KE70 / AE86
Up for sale is the front coilovers I built for my track car last year. I started with XT130 struts, shortened them to suit new ST185 excel G inserts (part number 365077). I welded on the HSD sleeve kit which has 6kg/mm springs. Got some camber tops and replaced the bearings, machined some conical spacers to work with the top spring hat. I replaced the wheel bearings in the hub with new ones and had the disks skimmed. Calipers are fitted with Lucas pads which still have plenty of meat. Shortened the XT130 knuckles by using an AE86 PS arm to make the jig so they're the same length just have the balljoint in a better spot to give more neg camber and avoid the LCA fouling big rotor. Any questions just shoot me a PM. This was a really good setup in my AE71 but I've stripped the car now so no longer needed.
Great upgrade for AE71, gives you bigger strut, better shock, much lower ride height, height adjustment, camber adjustment, shorter knuckles for quicker steering and better lock. The stub axle is bigger than AE86 strut also. Various brake upgrades can be applied to these struts also, but the stock XT130 brakes shit all over stock KE70/AE71 brakes anyway.
$800 firm, less than what it cost me in parts to build.
